Computer Requirements

While OPTO will actually run on the original IBM PC's from a decade ago, we don't recommend it. Any equipment that old is long since past it's prime and should be retired.Although OPTO will run on virtually any PC-compatible machine currently being sold, you should consider the following recommendations when purchasing equipment.

Recommended Minimum Specifications for New Equipment:

bullet300 Mhz Pentium II
bulletWindows XP Pro
bullet32 MB of RAM
bullet2 GB Hard Drive
 These specifications should be the minimums considered. In general,  at least 64 MB of RAM rather than 32 MB.
